Operating Principle

Description
Busch Semiconductor Vacuum Group's COBRA series of dry screw vacuum pumps, models DS and DL, provides the semiconductor and flat panel display market with advanced vacuum pump technology. The COBRA series takes advantage of unique dry screw pump technology, which Busch have developed over a number of years to maximize product uptime. COBRA pumps are designed for the harshest processes, thanks to a simple, single-stage design and its ability to discharge solid particulates.

For industrial applications that requires some features of the DS and DL models, Busch offers the less expensive DP model which is the same pump, but without enclosure nor controller.
